KAPTON* is a high temperature polymide insulation with extremely high abrasion and cut through resistance. KAPTON* has an excellent dielectric strength and it can be used with a thinner wall size than other insulations.

UL approved singles are available for up to 250°C. Weight saving, space, and strength are reasons for using KAPTON* for primaries or jacket insulations.
